1 cup margarine
6 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar, plus extra for topping
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sifted flour
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
Cream margarine; add sugar and vanilla. Mix well; then add flour and salt. Mix well; then add nuts. Taking a small amount of dough, roll in pencil shapes about 2 to 2 ½ inches long and form crescents. Bake on greased cookie sheets at 350 degrees for 5 to 8 minutes. Cool and dust with confectioners’ sugar.
Yields 2 to 3 dozen
