Homemade Ranch Dressing

published: April 14th 2009
source: Lesa Jackson

1 cup Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
Buttermilk (add until desired consistency-I prefer mine very runny)
1 to 2 cloves garlic
¼ cup fresh dill
2 tablespoons fresh chives
Salt

Mince garlic with a knife and then sprinkle about  ¼ teaspoon of salt on it and mash it to form a paste with a fork.

In a bowl combine all ingredients, taste and add adjust seasoning as needed. Chill for a couple of hours before serving, thin with buttermilk until desired consistency.
