6 eggs
2 cups milk
5-7 slices bread (preferably wheat), cubed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 pound sausage
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Brown sausage. Pour off excess grease. Beat eggs with milk and add the remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 9 x 10 inch baking dish. This will not rise as high as a soufflé. Chill in baking dish 8 hours or overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes.
