New publication for Simbrah breeders

Simbrah World will makes its debut the first of March and will be a four color, 8 1/2 x 11 magazine that will be published twice annually. The magazine will include news about Simbrah cattle, breeders, Simbrah’s influence in commercial segments, junior members, events, as well as foreign and industry news and management articles.
    “Simbrah breeders were notified last fall that the American Simmental Associa-tion was no longer going to publish a stand alone magazine for Simbrah. After putting the magazine out for bids, it was decided to have Southern Livestock Publishing, San Antonio, Texas produce Simbrah World for us. As many of you may remember, Pete Birdwell independently published Sim-brah World in the 1980s. Pete graciously told us to use the name and we thank him for that,” said Tim Smith, Simbrah Advisory Committee Chairman.
    Deadline for placing ads in this first issue is January 30th and you may contact Martha Garrett, with Sou-thern Livestock Publishing to purchase an ad at 903/316-8465 or the office at 210/524-9697. Garrett will be lead person from the Southern Livestock staff to handle editorial and advertising for Simbrah World.
