heifers from MK Ranch, Era, Texas, sold to Tom McDaniel, Hallettsville, Texas, for $2,600; Five open heifers from EG Land & Cattle, Ltd., Bryan, Texas, sold to Derrick Dees of Angleton, Texas for $1,750.

      Santa Gertrudis: Five pair from Texas Oaks Cattle Ranch, Burton, Texas, sold to Ken Seeker for $4,000; Five bred heifers from Briggs Ranches, Bloomington, Texas, sold to Alberto Saenz for $3,000.

      English & English Crosses: Five open heifers from Rocking Chair Ranch sold to Joey Adams, New Waverly, Texas for $4,000.

      Volume buyers for the sale were Jeff and Lisa Pollok of Falls City, Texas; Randy Dornak, Shiner, Texas; Bridge Creek Cattle Co., Kemp, Texas; Ken Seeker, Brenham, Texas; and Cavender Ranches of Jacksonville, Texas.
