Southern Oaks Holds Field Day

    Southern Cattle Company, Marianna, Florida held their first annual field day on May 15th. The focus for the day was “Facing The Future Head On” and approximately 250 commercial and registered breeders attended the event to hear speakers from across the country share their insight about the future of the beef industry.
    The progam included information for herds of all sizes and the crowd toured Southern Oaks by bus and evaluated their ranching program. In addition, attendees viewed the Grow Safe Feed Efficiency facility on the ranch. Southern Oaks is in partnership with the University of Florida on collecting feed efficiency data.
